About Our Billboards
Many people in the US have to drive a long way to work, school, picking up kids and other places. We spend a lot of time in our car. On average, each person spends more than 20 hours per week and travels more than 200 miles on a typical work week. I am telling you this because it means that we get plenty of time to see billboards advertising all sorts of things.
Ads on the side of the road might make you want to buy something. When I see ads, I feel like buying things. Most people look at these ads and more than a third of them think about buying something from an ad they see every time they pass one.
We are learning different things from a recent study by the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT). More than half of the people who pass our billboards are 18 or older have learned about a place they have visited from our billboards. 58% of them also say they went to a restaurant after seeing it on a billboard. 56% saw something funny and laughed, and 33% were reminded of something on TV or radio. 26% said that they saw a phone number or web address on the billboard which led them somewhere else (website, phone number).
It would appear, from the findings of this study, that outdoor advertising does work. People notice it and are influenced by it.
Keller's Outdoor Advertising has two locations. One is on the northeast corner of Route 83 and Grass Lake Road. The other one is on the northwest corner of Avalon Drive and Antioch Court. Each shop has four spaces for advertising, which are 12 feet by 24 feet each.
AT 840 W. IL Route 173. Going east and west into Antioch (just east of 59) is where those three spaces are 10x20. The most recent IDOT information says that 71,250 cars per day view these advertising spaces. That means 26,006,250 cars per year are viewing these advertising spaces.
Keller's Outdoor Advertising would like your company to get good advertising. We will negotiate the prices and terms. We have big billboards with full LED lighting located at Grasslake Road and Route 83, and smaller ones at IL Route 173.
